Bible Fellowship Elective-Building Below The Baseline

May 14th - August 20th, 2017

Although a structure’s foundation remains mostly unseen, serious builders never overlook its importance. And they never feel that resources invested in it are wasted. Many Christians, however, neglect the unseen areas of their Christian walk. We have a tendency to place greater importance on outward service than inner character. The danger in this is that, just as a building can look good, even impressive, if its foundation is cracked or deteriorating, it will eventually crumble.

Build below the Baseline is a challenge to develop the part of your life that only God sees. Each study in this ten-lesson series explores a Scripture passage that provides encouragement and specific instruction on investing in the most vital and foundational aspects of your Christian life.

This elective is a continuation of the same course from the Spring session and is taught by Rob Arias.

Feasts of israel

Bible Fellowship Elective-The Jewish Feasts of Israel

May 14th - August 20th, 2017

Israel's festivals were communal and commemorative as well as theological and typological. They were communal in that they drew the nation together for celebration and worship as they recalled the common origin and experience of the people. They were commemorative in that they kept alive the story of what God had done in the exodus and during the sojourn. They were theological in that the observance of the festivals presented the participants with lessons on the reality of sin, judgment, and forgiveness, on the need for thanksgiving to God, and on the importance of trusting God rather than hoarding possessions. But most importantly, they were typological in that they anticipated a greater fulfillment through the person and work of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This class will be taught by Joe Perrino.

Always rejoicing title

College & Career Bible Elective- Rejoice Always (A Study of Philippians)

May 14th - August 20th, 2017

Every believer desires to experience the abundant joy that Jesus Christ promised! Yet, many Christians seem to mistakenly believe that joy "just happens." God's truth is that joy is a by-product of a right relationship with Jesus Christ. Joy comes from willingly living within the parameters of God's truth and His promises.

The book of Philippians presents one of the Bible's greatest studies on faithful, joyful Christian living. This thirteen-lesson study will encourage you and equip you to walk with joy through every circumstance and trial of the Christian life. Verse by verse you will rediscover God's plan for growing, transforming, and using your life—in the context of His ever-present joy.
